On Sunday, November 25, 2018, Patriarch Bartholomew concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with Patriarch Daniel, members of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, and many more concelebrants, for the inauguration of the new National Cathedral in Bucharest.
State and local officials were present, as well as a large crowd of faithful, 2,000 inside the cathedral, and 50,000 outside.
