On Friday, June 15, 2012, His All-Holiness met with Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, the Hon. Ertuğrul Günay, during the opening of an exhibition at Topkapi museum. Among other issues discussed, His All-Holiness thanked the Minister for his interest and contribution in restoring the roads that lead to the historic Monasteries Peristereota and Vazelona in the region of Trabzon.
