rifugiati Egeo da Turchia arcobalenoOrmai parlare della questione dei rifugiati mi pare la moda del nostro periodo attuale.
Tanti vogliono strumentalizzare le nostre ferite aperte, i media italiani e internazionali non fanno che parlare dei profughi . … Giusto che tutti parlino, ma giusto pure trovare una soluzione a questa grave ferita, perchè non serve parlare solo di buoni sentimenti e di accoglienza verso questi profughi, senza
dire come possiamo realmente aiutarli.
 
Vorrei dire: Basta guerre, basta buonismo banale, basta sfruttare i poveri rifugiati che scappano dalla morte, che scappano dai campi dei profughi in Turchia.
Qualcuno si è chiesto come un siriano vive nei campi dei profughi in Turchia? O come viene trattato un cristiano?
Allora perchè l'Europa dona tutti questi miliardi al governo di Erdogan?
Nonostante i grossi rischi che affrontano i profughi lungo il loro viaggio, la politica europea è servita a bloccare il loro arrivo?
 
Ringrazio il Signore che sono riuscito ad andare via della Siria con la mia famiglia con visto regolare, e sono venuto in Italia, e tutto questo grazie a un gruppo di amici che mi hanno aiutato ed accolto con amore ed amicizia, e ci hanno fatto sentire che siamo importanti e siamo degli esseri umani.
Io quindi non vi posso raccontare che sentimenti prova il siriano cristiano quando si butta nel mare, sperando di arrivare alla meta sicura .
Non posso raccontarvi i sentimenti di un profugo che vive ora dentro una tenda in Grecia o in Macedonia, in attesa di raggiungere il nord dell'Europa, ma io posso capire la sua angoscia, la sua rabbia perchè sicuramente aveva detto a se stesso prima di intraprendere questa avventura: "In Europa troverò il rispetto, troverò una buona vita", ma lui poverino non ha capito che l'Europa non lo vuole e sarà usato, come gli stessi europei sono usati dai politici.
A me pare disumano sfruttare i sentimenti del popolo europeo ed i sentimenti dei profughi a favore di scopi politici.

 Se si vuole risolvere veramente il problema dei profughi occorre
1- sbloccare l'embargo sulla Siria perchè ha fatto solo impoverire il popolo siriano.
2- se l'Europa non può accogliere questi numeri di profughi, allora si impegni a migliorare la vita nei campi dei rifugiati vicini alla patria.
3- lavorare seriamente con gli altri Paesi regionali (Iran- Turchia ) ed internazionali (Russia, USA) a spingere i gruppi che combattono in Siria a negoziare, ed usare un linguaggio lontano dalle armi.
4- chiedere ai loro amici Sauditi di bloccare l'insegnamento radicale, perchè il fanatismo ed il radicalismo fanno crescere solamente l'odio.
5- aiutare il popolo siriano, senza ficcare il naso, a scegliere e decidere la sua strada, perchè la democrazia la fa il popolo.
6- aiutare i siriani a ricostruire il loro paese.

But Egypt is part of the Holy Land as well. Why? Because Christ was there, and a Coptic bishop wants that to be officially celebrated in his country.

A close collaborator with Coptic Pope Tawadros II, Bishop Anba Youlyous, is proposing that the the feast of Jesus’ entry into Egypt, which this year falls on July 1, be declared an official national holiday according to Fides news service. He noted that the Church calls all Egyptians to join the feast.

Egypt is predominantly Muslim, but the roughly 10% of the population that is Christian—mostly Orthodox—makes the country one of the most diverse in the Middle East.

Copts consider the Holy Family flight to the land of the Pharaohs, seeking to protect the Christ Child from the wrath of King Herod, a providential event: it prepared the nation to receive the proclamation of the Gospel. According to local tradition, the Holy Family moved throughout the country carrying out miracles, which are at the origin of numerous sanctuaries. Those shrines are visited by Muslims as well as Christians.

The story of the Holy Family fleeing to Egypt is now compared to today’s humanitarian emergency of refugees: many Coptic Christians wonder what kind of reception Mary, Joseph and Jesus would have today.

A member of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church, Bishop Youlyous is in charge of managing social works.
