Patriarch Filaret has got infected with the coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

"We would like to inform you that His Holiness Patriarch of Kyiv and All Russia-Ukraine Filaret was diagnosed with Covid-19 during scheduled testing," the statement reads.
