On Monday, June 11, 2012, His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch presided over the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Holy Apostle Bartholomew on the occasion of his Nameday at the Patriarchal Church of St. George. Among those in attendance were the representative of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, Bishop Savvas of Voskresensky, Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece, the Greek Ambassador of Greece in Ankara, the Hon. Theoharis Lalakos, the General Consul of Greece in Istanbul, the Hon. Nikolaos Matthioudakis and his wife, the Hon. Katerina Varvarigos, Greek Consul in Adrianople, Greek Consul in Smyrni, the Hon. Theodore Tsakiris, as well as numerous members of the clergy and lay pilgrims from Turkey, Greece and abroad.
